Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Fish Boon is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including guests using screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or other assistive technology. We're working toward conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C.
Current status
This is a genuinely new website, and accessibility work is ongoing, not complete. We are not claiming full conformance. What's true as of the date above:
- The full menu is real, readable text — never an image or PDF.
- Every page has a proper heading structure, a "Skip to main content" link, and semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
- Text and background colors have been checked against WCAG AA contrast minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- All images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked as such.
- The site has no forms and no icon-only buttons or links — the two most common sources of unlabeled controls.
- Ordering (Toast) and reservations (Google) are external services we link to rather than embed. We've verified our own links to them are clearly labeled and keyboard-reachable; we don't control the accessibility of those services' own booking flows once you land on them.
What hasn't been independently verified yet: a full assistive-technology pass (VoiceOver/NVDA) across every page, and a professional accessibility audit.
An accessible alternative, always available
If any part of this site or a linked ordering/reservation flow doesn't work for you, please call us directly at (760) 692-3904 — we're glad to take your order or reservation by phone.
